1. Service

CertExpiry is a Google Sheets™ add-on that tracks the certificate-of-insurance (COI) expiry dates you enter or import and lists due reminders in your spreadsheet. It does not send emails.

2. Price

Free, with a limit on the number of vendors you can track. There is no paid plan. If we add a paid plan, we will update these terms, and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe.

3. Insurance disclaimer (important)

Tracking tool, not insurance advice. CertExpiry records the dates and details you enter. It does not review, verify or interpret insurance policies or certificates, does not determine whether any coverage is in force, adequate, or meets any contract or legal requirement, and does not tell you whether anyone is "compliant" or "insured". Nicholas Syrianoudis is not an insurance agent, broker, producer or consultant and does not sell, solicit or negotiate insurance. A COI is a snapshot issued by a third party. Confirm coverage with the issuing agent or insurer and consult a licensed professional for advice. Status colors reflect only the dates you entered.

4. Your data and responsibilities

5. Acceptable use

No spam, harassment or unlawful use; no use to give or imply insurance advice or coverage verdicts; no circumventing the vendor limit.

6. No warranty

Provided "as is". CertExpiry shows, inside your spreadsheet, which certificates are due or expired, based only on the dates you entered (status column, row colors and the Outbox tab). We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, Google Apps Script quota availability, that the daily check will always run, or that any status is accurate or current. You remain responsible for tracking and renewing certificates.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nicholas Syrianoudis is not liable for losses arising from missed or lapsed certificates, from a status that is wrong, late or missing, or from reliance on status colors as anything other than a date-tracking aid. In any case, our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and material changes take effect when the updated add-on or page is published. You may stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their home country.
